Director,DST,Mrs.Soumya Gupta appreciates the innovative concept based model presented by Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar. Uday Jain (IX-A), Sujal Kumar (VII-B) and Mr. Narendra Singh Rawat (Teacher, Science Department) were honoured with certificate of appreciation, 3 kits & 2 sets of books worth Rs.2000/- each at Northern India Science Fair-2016-17.
National Science Centre, Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India selected the model ‘Skilled Terminator for Spilled Contamination’ form Bhartiya Vidya Mandir,Udham Singh Nagar out of 150 models that participated in the CBSE Regional Level Science Exhibition. Out of the 2 models ‘Skilled Terminator for Spilled Contamination’ and ‘Eco Elegant an Eco Saver Village’ presented by BVM, USN the former was selected to participate at Northern India Science Fair. Total 75 models & projects from CBSE, SCERT,NVS & KVS in the northern region of India were invited to exhibit their models & projects. Only 3 models were selected from Punjab. BVM Trust and Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi congratulated and applauded the innovative spirit of science department.
